Elaine Swenson, President

Elaine started TCG Management in 2012, overseeing the portfolio of residential properties and acting as Property Manager for the retail properties. Elaine is responsible for supervising capital expenditures and seeking out creative ways to manage, market and position properties, new business, refinancing and acquisition of new apartment communities. She has 35 years of experience in the field of real estate property management and previously served as the Principal and President for Real Estate Equities and Vice President for Real Estate Equities/ Village Green, the Director of Property Management for the Stuart Management Company, Portfolio Manager with Hegg Property Management and Vice President at The Ackerberg Group. Elaine has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, is a Certified Portfolio Manager, through the Institute of Real Estate Management, is a Certified Resident Manager through the Minnesota Multi Housing Association and is a HUD Certified Occupancy Specialist. She is the Recipient of the Arne Carlson Certificate of Commendation from the Minnesota Council for Quality and serves a number of boards. Elaine is a past two term Board Member of the Minnesota Housing Association and is an instructor for the Minnesota Housing Association’s Certified Resident Manager and Certified Technician Manager training programs.

Mary Dempsey, Operations Manager

Mary Dempsey, has over ten years of experience in property management at the corporate level; working with market rate and affordable multi housing. She has assisted in sales and acquisitions and well as management transitions of dozens of assets. Her current responsibilities include Human Resources payroll, recruiting and benefit administration; corporate accounting and budget management; coordinating and administrating company events, coordinating annual budget preparations, managing logistics to ensure office equipment produces service at high standards; ensuring that company services meet and exceed customer standards; interacting and preparing needed reports and next course of actions; managing operational strategy and standard procedures and policy administration; maximizing output of various contracts and a variety of administrative duties. She previously worked for Real Estate Equities as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the President and CFO.
